Who am I?
My name is Matic Pogladič (Matees Pogladich) and I was born and raised in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I studied mathematics at University of Ljubljana and Charles University in Prague. After my studies I started with web development and that lead to WordPress enthusiasm. I created numerous WordPress and WooCommerce projects as a freelancer and contributed to some large projects while I was employed at Qloud.io. Later on I have been working for companies such as 1tap Receipt Bank, Outfit7, Poviolabs, Visionect, Cleanshelf, Grow Development, Vyudu, Inc and some more.
Through my journey of web development I had some really amazing mentors, employers, coworkers and partners. They taught me that you never know enough and you have to keep learning every day. Technology is moving forward and we need to keep up.
In addition to web development I also do design. At some point on my development journey I realized that it is just very useful to improve my web design skills. I design websites, logos, newsletters, business cards and I even designed ice cream label once.
But mostly I am focused in developing custom plugins and themes for WordPress and WooCommerce.
